Bert Lutterloch
Bertie Richard Lutterloch Born: 12th August 1910 From: Share "Bert Lutterloch" on FacebookBorn in Poplar in 1910, Bert took the unusual decision to move to France to sign professional forms with Lille and whilst there won a First Division championship medal as well as representing the French League.
Coming back to England to join Wolves in 1934 he found it difficult to earn a regular place but was more successful at Aldershot from whom he was picked up by the Town in the summer of 1936.
A true utility man, which was probably his undoing, he made sporadic appearances over the next three years but had nailed down a full-back slot when War broke out.
Reverting to his ‘French’ position of inside-forward during the War years he later played for Vauxhall Motors and passed away in Luton in 1988.
